Lots of art news for December:

* Stop by Healdsburg Center for the Arts, 130 Plaza St., Sunday, Dec. 7, from 2 – 4 p.m. I’ll be doing a demo of pet portrait painting. And in the ecumenical spirit, I’ll be painting a dog instead of a cat! Meanwhile, click here to take a look at my “calendar cat” series of Oscar Wild’s antics.

* While you’re there, take a look at the annual HCA “Art for the Holidays” juried show and don’t miss my wall of “Simply Rural” paintings including a new painting of my friend Julie’s goats.
* And make a date to see the newest exhibit of work by the Bay Area Studio Artists now at Chimney Rock Winery, 5350 Silverado Trail, Napa. You can click here to see some photos of the exhibit but if you go to the winery your art experience will be accompanied by their fabulous wine! Stay tuned for an invitation to a reception and wine tasting at the winery in the new year.
