Joanne is now a Gallery Artist at Healdsburg Center For the Arts, 130 Plaza St., Healdsburg, and a collection of her nighttime scenes of downtown Healdsburg is on display.
The paintings show views from the central Plaza looking out at the lighted shop windows by night.
“One night I was walking home from dinner and I stopped in the Plaza to enjoy the night air,” Joanne says. “As I looked around, I realized the glow of the shop windows created a warm hometown feel.
“Since then I’ve painted quite a few downtown night scenes. But there always seems to be a new twist. The latest: a Ferrari driving past Susan Graff Ltd…that was only there in my imagination!”
Stop by and take a look. Open Tuesday – Thursday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday – Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
