I just returned from a three-day painting retreat in the mountains around Forestville (Sonoma County.) We painted the model seven hours a day. Fun, exhausting, challenging.
Best moment: Dancing and painting this image of Ashley as a flirty French girl.
Worst moment: Hmmmm…Oh yeh, they made me eat TOFU!
The organizer, Pam Powell, was a wonderful, gentle influence on the group. Her cafe paintings tell wonderful stories and are deliciously complex. Click to see some of her work.
