Long Day At The Lake

Long Day At The Lake

I always seem to return to the human form. (Thanks, Sherry, for your years of hard work teaching me what the form actually looks like!) I watched this mother and son on the beach at Pinecrest Lake (in the Sierra) for half an hour one day. She was elegant. He was expressive. I was captivated. They have been the subject of several studies and one painting in the past. I think I’ve finally fully described the relationship in this one.
