Lovely Lion

I enjoyed the opening reception for the Plaza Arts Member Show Friday evening. Saw some old friends and met some new ones.

There are some good paintings in the show. The second-place winning piece was a fabulous collage lion. I never thought I’d care for collage, but this one was pretty amazing. I talked to artist Susan Moore who explained how much fun it was to find snippets of photos from magazines that represented the different textures and colors in the lion’s face. Cool stuff. Enjoy.
