I spent a couple of days painting in Plein Air with my mentor, Marcy Wheeler, and my artist pal, Jeanette Baird, at Yosemite. I always complain about working outdoors (too sunny, too windy, too much sand in my shoes) but I’m handling it better these days. These simple studies of Half Dome and Yosemite Falls turned out pretty good.
