“So I guess you said ‘yes’ one too many times, huh?”
“Yes,” I said one more time.
My friend Jeanette Baird was spot on. (She often is. She’s a great artist and a thoughtful person. Check out her charming blog here.)
I’d said yes to three shows and they are coming up in the next month. More than that, I’d said yes to doing the publicity for two of them. And the third is an outdoor event, which requires schlepping half my studio to a park in Danville.
Nevertheless, it’s all coming together and you’re invited to see the results of my efforts and those of many others. Here’s the schedule:
As many as 300 artworks by 150 local artists. Always a great show with everything from photos to sculpture to paintings.
Friday, Sept. 30: Reception 7 – 9 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 1: Noon to 5 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 2: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Fifty artists showing their work on the lawn. Bring your sun screen and don’t miss the wine bar.
Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 1 and 2: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
